From One Grill to a Family Institution
ShababAwal began in 2014 with a single charcoal grill, a family recipe, and an unshakeable belief — that the finest Saudi food belongs in every neighbourhood. Our founder, a Khobar native, grew up watching his father grill Al Faham chicken over real charcoal every Friday, filling the courtyard with that unmistakable smoky aroma.
What started as a small bukhari restaurant in Al Khobar quickly became the go-to destination for families across the Eastern Province. Word spread — not through advertising, but through honest food and warm hospitality.
Today, with two branches across Khobar and Dammam, ShababAwal continues to serve the same recipes, the same way, with the same pride. Every grain of Bukhari rice, every bite of Shawaya, is a tribute to the culinary heritage of Saudi Arabia.
